Mountain Valley View Farm Pre-Selling Farm Fresh Veggies for Next Spring!

Mountain Valley View Farm is now taking pre-orders for our Spring 2013 crop of organic, farm fresh veggies! Our 30 acre family farm is always working hard to bring you the tastiest, most nutritious produce, and we are so excited to offer you this preview of what’s to come in the following year.
We are starting our Fall planting now to ensure that we have lots of organic produce to meet the growing demand for our customers. Our Spring 2013 crop will include popular veggies that are kitchen staples for many people. We are taking pre-orders now on all of the following fall-planted vegetables: leeks, radishes, lettuce, onions, arugula, beets, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, and turnips. See below for details.

These delicious veggies are all heirloom varieties, free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). As always, you can count on Mountain Valley View Farm to use organic farming methods to ensure that your vegetables are completely natural, completely safe, and extremely healthy for your family.

 

Arugula (Rocket)

Rocket Arugula is by far the most popular variety and typically the one found in your local supermarket or favorite restaurant. “Rocket” is a very attractive lush green arugula with serrated leaves.

Beets (Chioggia)

A sweet and colorful beet that possesses a pinkish skin and alternating red and white rings on its interior. Use Chioggia” beets for pickling or baking. Chioggia is a favored heirloom beet, first introduced in the USA from Italy in the mid 19th century.

Broccoli (Calabrese)
